Years To Come

Stunning words to listen to again.
And for sure you have a clue of what to do now.
But you would never listen to your own words that you tell
when metaphors and flattering pictures embellish what you sell.

Building walls of wisdom in the night.
Illuminated pride you find if the sun may give you light.
But to catch a ray you're digging holes in solid masonry
when falling stones return to dust you're exposed to hypocrisy.

Think of years to come, before we're running out of time!
There's no more life to find.
Think of years to come, 'cause we will never break the time!
There's nowhere, no place to hide.

You will never listen but sure you would never confess.
Try blaming sons and daughters, blaming in more general – the mass,
blaming lack of courage, lack of will, lack of sensibility,
combined with listless thoughts and lethargy and somehow you're right – we'll see

Think of years to come, before we're running out of time
There's no more life to find!
Think of years to come, 'cause man will never break the time!
There's nowhere, no place to hide!

Chains

You and me - the silent waves,
one by one to follow, gently rising falling low.
The sudden fade and strength to grow.

Bounding banks - the shallow path
no need to force the overflow to tempt the everlasting.
Winding witness of the past.

You and me - descending waves
yellow leaves that cover pearls of curling purity.
Veiling immortality.

Fields to pass, to leave behind.
Foreign winds revealing the unknown you long to find
Sacred stormy night.

Falling pieces now will break these chains, and change our story now.
Sailing over for to seek the light and break these chains today.

Weighing anchor, setting sails.
Leaving shores of cold meander, drowning unity.
A silent breath along the sea.

Untie the rope - the final step.
Lingering dust of sweet desires slowly disappears.
Backward steps to well known fears.

Falling pieces now could break these chains, we'll face our story now.
Sailing over for to seek the light and break these chains today.

Falling pieces now will break these chains, we'll face our story now.
Sailing over we could feel the light, unbreak these chains today.

The Straightest Way

Towards the horizon
following an iron track – full speed ahead.
Always in motion
like heading for the perfect day and got no time to rest.

We never fail, we never go astray.
We always stay on the beaten track, following the straightest way.

There’s rain on my window,
a kaleidoscope of waterdrops in all shades of grey.
The landscape has vanished,
I’m trapped inside this dismal but beautiful cage.

We never fail, we never go astray.
We always stay on the beaten track, following the straightest way.

We never fail, we never go astray.
We always stay on the beaten track, following the straightest way.

Washed-out and weary
animals in cages dying endlessly
with cold iron curtains
barred resorts and heavy skies – inside me.

We never fail, we never go astray.
We always stay on the beaten track, following the straightest way.

We never fail, we never go astray.
We always stay on the beaten track, following the straightest way.
